✦ Who We Are
A practice built on listening first
Mivella was established with one purpose in mind: to make sound legal assistance accessible to individuals and community groups who need it most, and to deliver it with the consideration it deserves.

Where Mivella began
Mivella opened its doors in Singapore's central business district with a deliberate focus on three areas where individuals consistently lacked access to clear, patient legal support: settling a loved one's estate, resolving a consumer dispute without going to court unprepared, and forming a community organisation with the right legal foundation.
The name Mivella reflects the idea of finding your way — a wayfinding sensibility that runs through everything we do. Legal matters can feel disorienting, particularly during difficult personal circumstances. Our role is to provide the orientation a person needs to move forward with clarity.
We work with clients across Singapore, drawing on a network of associate professionals where specialist input is needed. Our practice operates from our office at 3 Church Street in the heart of the city.
Our guiding values
Orientation over pressure
We present your options honestly and give you the space to arrive at your own decision. We do not rush the process.
Attentive from the start
No two matters are alike. We invest time at the outset to understand your circumstances before recommending any course of action.
Transparent about scope
Our engagement fees are clearly stated. If a matter falls outside scope, we will tell you directly — never after the fact.
People at the centre
Behind every matter is a person managing more than just a legal problem. We keep that in mind at every step.

Legal support in Singapore, handled with care
Singapore's legal landscape for individuals and community groups is well-structured but can feel difficult to navigate without guidance. Estate administration, for example, involves a sequence of court applications, institutional correspondence, and formal accounting — each step requiring accuracy and patience. Mivella's practitioners are familiar with this process end-to-end and manage it on behalf of executors and family members so that the focus can remain where it belongs: on the people involved.
Consumer disputes are often settled well before they reach a tribunal. A well-prepared claim assessment letter, sent at the right stage of a dispute, frequently prompts resolution. Our consumer advisory service is designed around this reality — practical, targeted, and structured around what actually produces a result. Similarly, our non-profit registration work is built on years of experience with the Registrar of Societies and the Commissioner of Charities, giving community groups a clear and reliable path to formal status.
